He never missed any opportunity to line his own pocket.<\/p>\n<p>One day Mohan was walking in the woods near his home. As he turned a corner he was surprised to bump into\u2026God. He wasn\u2019t a nervous man, but was somewhat taken aback. The two exchanged a few pleasantries about how the weather could have been better, the cause of the recent heavy monsoon, and so on. As they chatted, Mohan had one of his brainwaves \u2013 and it was a good one! So he thought . . .<\/p>\n<p>Placing together his palms, as if in awe and reverence (for Mohan was somewhat religious), he said:<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Tell me, Lord, is it true that one of your moments is many aeons?\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Yes it is true\u2019, resounded the reply.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018And tell me, my Lord, is it true that one of your pennies is billions of pounds?\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Yes it is true\u2019, came the grave reply.<\/p>\n<p>Mohan was exalted. \u2018Tell you what, my dear Lord\u2019, he continued, \u2018I really could use a cup of tea. Could you spare me a penny?\u2019<\/p>\n<p>God paused thoughtfully and then patted his pockets.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Sorry, nothing on me at the moment. I\u2019ll go fetch my wallet.
